As I have a strong and rich history with the art of puppetry, there's no production more fitting for a mixed production (actors and puppets) than "Alice in Wonderland". As scale is a tremendously important element of this story, I decided to design a series of puppets to reinforce the unique scales of each character. Puppets are also a great choice for this production. I feel as it adds a whimsical yet practical perspective for the audience. To further the element of whimsy to the piece through costumes, I used unique textures, prints, and colors to widen the eye and further engage with the stage.
